Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct the care team through delegation and coordination while managing time, supplies, and resources to prioritize patient needs. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, including education and referrals. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as clinical outcomes change. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and integrate legal and ethical standards into daily practice. Requires a current state license, BLS certification, and BSN degree; includes 36 weekly hours at $37.45–$57.29 hourly. Located at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients

Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
