Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of cardiac neuro stepdown patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient care delivery. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care with patients, families, and physicians, including education and referrals, then evaluate patient response to interventions and revise plans as needed. Provide accurate and timely documentation while maintaining legal and ethical standards within the scope of licensure. Requires a current RN license and BSN degree, with a weekly schedule of 36 hours at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
