Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for cardiac neuro stepdown patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate delivery. Evaluate patient response to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and provide education and referrals to ensure continuity. Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to legal and ethical standards, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN degree; includes 36 weekly hours at $37.45-$57.29.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
