Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals with cardiac and neuro stepdown needs using evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct the care team through delegation, coordinate patient education and referrals, and document accurate, timely information while maintaining legal and ethical standards. Manage priorities to effectively organize care delivery, monitor clinical outcomes, and revise plans based on patient response. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and ability to lift, transfer, and ambulate patients in a busy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
