Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the 2C Cardiac Medical Ward provides high-quality patient care with telemetry monitoring and support for cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedures. Collaborates with the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Leaders to deliver patient-centred care, working within a team that emphasises safety and excellence. Requires current AHPRA RN registration, a minimum of two years’ post-graduate acute-care experience, ability to act as after-hours In-Charge (desirable), and flexibility to rotate through day/evening/night shifts. Must provide a National Police check within the last 12 months and meet immunisation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Essential)
- Minimum of two years’ post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
- Ability to act as In-Charge after hours (highly desirable)
- Previous cardiology experience (preferred)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster (day, evening, night)
- National Police check within 12 months
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases (as required)
