Job Summary
Implement and monitor specific patient care plans to ensure treatment progress. Observe, record, and communicate changes in patient condition to appropriate parties. Act as a central coordinator across all medical disciplines to maintain well-coordinated care. Attend to and accurately carry out all medical orders provided by physicians and nursing staff. Evaluate and coordinate a patient's ongoing care needs in collaboration with other healthcare team members. This full-time night shift position is within the Cardiac Stepdown Progressive Care Float Pool at Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
