Job Summary
Coordinate and implement care for adult patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab as a circulator, scrub, or monitor. Perform patient preparation, ensure timely history and physicals, and utilize critical judgment to administer medications and report abnormal findings. Safely perform hemostasis with or without vascular devices, enter patient orders and charges, and provide independent care to critically ill patients. Educate patients and families on perioperative procedures, escort them to cardiology areas, and conduct point-of-care testing per policy. Maintain constant alertness and execute assigned duties while adhering to unit standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
