Job Summary
Perform cardiac catheterization procedures on adult patients for the diagnosis and treatment of congenital or acquired heart and/or peripheral vascular disease under the direction of a qualified cardiologist. Utilize specialized equipment to maintain maximum patient safety and comfort while demonstrating empathy with patients, families, and staff. Apply specialized knowledge of cardiac medications and critically think through routine and emergency situations. Requires an active RN license in the state of employment. Full-time, 40-hour schedule with first shift rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be RN
- licensed in the state where work is being performed
- If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence
- Knowledge of cardiac medications
- Able to critically think and problem solve in routine and emergency situations
