Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, delivering coordinated and evidence-based care tailored to patients' needs throughout their lifespan. Essential duties include assessing, diagnosing, planning, and evaluating patient care, facilitating learning for patients and families, and managing safety and quality in care delivery. The RN will engage in professional development and demonstrate leadership within an inter-professional care team. Qualifications include a current state RN license, with a BSN preferred, and at least one year of nursing experience or eligibility through the NLRN Program.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in the State of Practice
- At least one year of experience as a registered nurse
- Maintains BLS certification
- Must meet individual nursing unit specifications regarding educational requirements
Desired Qualifications
- BSN in Nursing preferred
- Specialty Certification is preferred
- BLS certification
- ACLS is unit dependent
- PALS is unit dependent
