Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac, electrophysiology, and structural heart procedures, working within a high-stress, 4-lab environment as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, coordinating care with physicians and support staff, providing direct patient care and education, and ensuring timely documentation via Epic and MacLab. The role combines conscious sedation and anesthesia with a focus on critical thinking, collaboration, professional accountability, and ongoing patient-family education. The position requires: current RN licensure, BSN (as of last update), BLS, and demonstrated nursing fundamentals in critical care settings; on-call coverage and a schedule of 36 hours per week across 9-hour shifts at Saint Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, with on-call hours outside of regular lab hours.
