Job Summary
Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients in a high-stakes Cardiac Cath Lab environment. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to care for patients undergoing Cardiac, Electrophysiology, and Structural Heart procedures; uses Epic and MacLab for documentation; provides RN-conscious sedation and anesthesia support; works in 4-person teams (RN, scrub tech, and an additional tech or nurse); 36 hours per week across 4x9-hour shifts with on-call obligations nights, weekends, and holidays; location: Grand Junction, CO at St. Marys Regional Hospital. Key skills include patient assessment, care coordination, clinical documentation, critical thinking, teamwork, and safety in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update (4/27/2025)
