Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) in Blount Memorial Hospital. Role involves directing patient care for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, circulating, providing moderate sedation, scrubbing at the physician table, and monitoring/documenting cases. Requires competency across Cath Lab duties, SBAR communication, Epic EMR documentation, sedation management, radiation safety, and maintaining accurate case documentation. Must understand pre-procedure assessments, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and team; requires organizational skills for equipment and supplies, and the ability to respond to emergencies. Minimum education is an Associate degree in Nursing with 2 years of critical care/CCL experience; RN licensure; BLS and ACLS. RCIS preferred; BSN preferred. Day shift in Blount Memorial Hospital, Blount County, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (RN)
- Two years of critical care or prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current RN licensure (compact/multistate or state license)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
