Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse responsible for nursing care related to cardiac, peripheral, and electrophysiology procedures, EKG and stress lab exams, and radiology procedures in a fast-paced high-intensity unit. Works with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure professional services, patient safety, documentation, and completion of catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures. Requires ADN/ Diploma/ BSN/ MSN and Wisconsin licensure, BLS within 3 months, ACLS within 6 months. Shift is 1st with 40 hours/week and call rotation; responsibilities include patient and staff education, QA participation, and direct assistance to physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- ADN, Diploma, BSN or MSN degree acceptable
- State of Wisconsin or multistate nursing licensure required
- BLS certification within three months of hire
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work independently in emergency situations
- Pre-placement physical examination
- Manual dexterity and good vision/hearing
- Ability to perform duties across neonatal to geriatric populations
- Experience with radiology procedures and cardiac catheterization support
