Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab in accordance with established policies and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Full-time day schedule at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted for BLS Provider
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
