Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Maintain BLS certification within 30 days of hire and hold Texas RN licensure prior to hire. Full-time day schedule at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted for BLS Provider
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
