Registered Nurse Cardiac and Vascular Surgical Unit

Conduct inpatient care for post-operative cardiac surgery, TAVR, and vascular surgery patients on a 34-bed acute cardiovascular telemetry unit. Manage cardiac post-procedural patients within Baystate's Regional Heart Attack Program, which delivers life-saving care by unblocking arteries up to 25 minutes sooner than the national standard. Provide continuous monitoring and support for patients receiving angioplasty procedures, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This role is part of a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence where Baystate experts perform more than 80% of all cardiac surgeries in western Massachusetts.
