Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes for cardiac and vascular patients while directing care delivery and providing patient education. Collaborate with other disciplines to maintain professional nursing standards and address special needs based on patient age. Maintain licensure in New York State, hold BLS or ACLS certification, and complete required rhythm and stepdown education courses within specified timeframes. No on-call rotation required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- BLS or ACLS required
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening
- Completion of cardiac rhythm course within three-six months
- Completion of stepdown education course within six-twelve months
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of New York
