Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) needed at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. Responsibilities include administering medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as ordered by physicians, supervising nursing assistants and orderlies, assisting physicians during rounds and examinations, providing patient care during MD rounds, performing scheduled treatments, maintaining infection control and universal precautions, supporting research related to quality of care, assisting with admissions assessments and scheduling annual physicals, and ensuring timely documentation. Requirements: RN license from North Carolina, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, CPR certification, ability to supervise staff, dependability, teamwork, and sound clinical judgment in geriatric care. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid North Carolina Nursing license
- CPR certification yearly
- Ability to supervise nursing staff
- Experience in geriatric nursing or long-term care setting
- Ability to follow physician orders and facility policies
- Ability to work and cooperate with nursing personnel and other departments
- Ability to make nursing decisions and manage patient care while ensuring safety and quality
