Job Summary
Provide patient-centered nursing care in a cancer clinic setting using the nursing process, assess and coordinate patient care with multiple departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain accountability to Mercy Service Standards. Must hold an active RN license and meet state requirements; BLS and provider certifications such as ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/OCN (or as required by unit) are expected. The role supports teamwork, clinical excellence, patient safety, and ongoing professional development within Mercy’s caring, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- CPR/BLS and one or more certifications as required by unit (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM)
- Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting 50 pounds, standing/walking),
- Commitment to Mercy Service Standards and patient confidentiality
