Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee residents' health and well-being, implementing care plans and providing expert nursing care in a compassionate environment. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with medical and regulatory standards. You'll supervise nursing staff, communicate effectively with patients and families, and maintain accurate medical records. An ADN is required, along with an active RN license in Iowa and CPR certification. Previous nursing experience is essential, with supervisory roles being a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- CPR and First Aid certification (or must be obtained upon hire)
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care settings
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Additional certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) may be required or preferred
