Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee the health and well-being of residents, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide nursing care in a compassionate and collaborative environment. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments, administering medications, and supervising nursing staff. You will effectively communicate updates to families and the healthcare team, ensure compliance with medical records, and respond to medical emergencies. Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Nursing, an active RN license in Iowa, CPR certification, and experience in nursing roles.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- CPR and First Aid certification (or must be obtained upon hire)
- Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care settings
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Additional certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) may be required or preferred depending on specific duties
- Experience in supervisory roles and leadership is a plus
