Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee resident health and well-being, implement care plans, and provide nursing care in a compassionate environment. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, administering medications, and supervising nursing staff. Candidates must have an Associate’s degree in Nursing, an active RN license in Iowa, and CPR certification, with a preference for those with prior experience in nursing, especially in long-term care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- CPR and First Aid certification (or must be obtained upon hire)
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care settings.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Additional certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) may be required or preferred depending on specific duties
- Experience in supervisory roles and leadership is a plus
