Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee the health and well-being of residents, implementing care plans and providing expert nursing care. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments of residents, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining medical documentation. An Associate’s degree in Nursing and an active RN license in Iowa are required, along with CPR and First Aid certification. Preferred candidates may have a Bachelor’s degree and additional certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- CPR and First Aid certification (or must be obtained upon hire)
- Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care settings
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Additional certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) may be required or preferred depending on specific duties
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
