Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Call Center provides after-hours clinical triage and telephone support while also serving as a mobile on-call nurse for in-person visits when necessary. Responsibilities include conducting after-hours triage, managing incoming calls, planning care interventions, providing emotional support, and performing in-home visits as needed, especially during crisis situations. The role requires a compassionate approach, adherence to agency protocols, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Team participation in planning and evaluation of patient services is also expected.
Required Qualifications
- Current Tennessee RN License
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Registered Nurse with a valid RN license
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Hospice experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
- Home Health experience preferred
- Long-Term Care experience preferred
