Job Summary
Assess, intervene, educate, and advocate for trauma patients while supporting the Philosophy of Person-Centred Care and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre's Mission and Values. Manage multiple demands and changing priorities within a fast-paced environment, utilizing skills in pre-op and post-op care alongside patient and family teaching. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent assessment and interpersonal communication abilities. Requires current Certificate of Competence [Ontario], B.C.L.S., and trauma experience; B.Sc.N and Post-Basic Neuro course strongly recommended.

- Current trauma experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Surgical experience
- Skills in pre-op and post-op care
- Patient/family teaching skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
