Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Breast Care Center will assist the physician and staff in coordinating patient care and maintaining efficient patient flow. Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, collecting and labeling lab specimens, obtaining vital signs, administering injections, documenting in EHR, and scheduling appointments. Essential skills include effective communication with patients and staff, adherence to safety protocols, and proficiency with patient care equipment. Requires an Associate’s degree, New Jersey State Nursing License, BLS certification, and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree required
- New Jersey State Nursing License
- BLS certification required
- 0 – 1 years experience
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to perform diverse work assignments with high accuracy
- Problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment preferred
- Experience with patient care equipment preferred
- Experience with EHR, Practice Management System and Departmental/Ancillary Systems preferred
