Registered Nurse - Breast and Melanoma Surgical Oncology – RN

Conduct preoperative and postoperative assessments, provide patient education, and coordinate multidisciplinary care for adult patients in Breast and Melanoma Surgery. Manage non-face-to-face patient interactions via telephone triage, patient portals, and electronic health record workflows including order processing and surgical listings. Reinforce disease-specific care plans and facilitate seamless transitions of care while functioning within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model. This role supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care, requiring strong clinical judgment and the ability to delegate based on skill level and patient acuity. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as part of the responsibility of their role.
