Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive care for hematology/oncology patients ranging from step-down to critical care needs on a 17-bed BMT unit. Implement and reassess individualized plans of care while maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 based on acuity. Provide direct medication administration and active listening to patients and families. This role is part of one of only three BMT programs in the state, offering night and weekend shift differentials. Flexible scheduling is available for experienced and new graduate nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree from an accredited program
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Team-oriented
- Willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs
- Travel is required
