Registered Nurse - Birth Center / Labor & Delivery

Job Summary
Assess, monitor, and respond to changing maternal and fetal conditions while providing exceptional patient-centered care throughout labor, delivery, and recovery. Develop individualized plans of care, educate families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, midwives, and NICU specialists. Utilize fetal monitoring and diagnostic data to guide decisions, participate in bedside handoffs, and contribute to quality improvement efforts. This full-time night role at the largest birthing center in the St. Louis region offers comprehensive training for experienced RNs transitioning into this high-acuity specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN License or eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Previous RN experience in an acute care or applicable clinical setting
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, squat, twist, and perform direct patient care activities
- Full-Time Nights
