Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health at Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL, full-time night shift (7:00pm-7:30am) with rotating holidays/weekends. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; maintaining competency to current standards; supervising and guiding nursing staff; integrating ethics and evidence-based practice; ensuring patient and staff safety; thorough documentation; and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, active Illinois nursing licensure, CPR certification (ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required within six months depending on unit), and ideally at least one year of staff-nurse experience.
