Job Summary
Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies, including admitting/shift assessments, analyzing patient data, contributing to multidisciplinary treatment plans, documenting care in the EHR, ensuring safety, supervising LPNs and techs, educating patients and families, adhering to nursing standards and ethics, and applying evidence-based practice to meet patients’ age-specific and clinical needs. Requires nursing education and active RN licensure in applicable states.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- State RN license in IL/MO/OK/WI or compact state
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association
- Ability to work night shift and perform direct patient care in behavioral health setting
