Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies; conducts admitting and shift assessments, analyzes data, and notifies physicians of condition changes. Participates in developing and evaluating multidisciplinary treatment plans, documents nursing care and physician orders, monitors safety, and serves as a clinical resource supervising LPNs and techs. Educates patients and families, applies evidence-based practice, and adheres to professional nursing standards and ANA Code of Ethics; performs duties with attention to patient age and clinical needs and adheres to department scope of service. Must hold nursing licensure in applicable states and current BLS HCP certification; shift is night in a hospital setting.
