Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Job Summary
Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies. Performs admitting and shift assessments, analyzes assessment data, notifies physicians of changes in condition, assists in development and evaluation of treatment plans, documents nursing care in the EHR, follows physicians' orders, ensures patient and environmental safety, supervises LPNs and techs, and educates patients and families using evidence-based practices. Adheres to nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics, works across multiple states with licensed RNs, and participates in multidisciplinary teamwork within a hospital setting.

- Basic Life Support (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association
- State-specific RN licensing boards or compact-state recognition
