Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health at MO-SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis (Night Shift, Full-Time). Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Responsibilities include admitting and shift assessments, analyzing patient data and notifying physicians of changes, participating in multidisciplinary treatment plans, documenting nursing care and orders, ensuring patient and environmental safety, supervising LPNs and techs, educating patients and families, and applying evidence-based nursing practices within the department's scope. The role emphasizes professional nursing standards and ethical guidelines, with a focus on age-specific and clinical patient needs. Licensure requirements include Missouri RN license or Compact-state RN, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
