Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health role providing direct/indirect nursing care with emphasis on psychosocial, physical, and general patient care. Responsibilities include observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning intervention and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling; promoting wellness and illness prevention; ensuring confidentiality of PHI; crisis intervention; participation in CQI and performance improvement activities; and maintaining standards for quality patient care. Requires state RN license, 1 year psychiatric experience, current CPR, basic computer skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of operation
- One-year experience in a psychiatric setting
- Current CPR required
- HWC training will be provided
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills
