Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health - PRN Night Shift

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments, administer medications per protocol, and monitor behavioral and medical changes in patients with acute psychiatric distress. Utilize verbal de-escalation and therapeutic interventions for dangerous situations, applying SafeClinch techniques and seclusion/restraint standards while ensuring compliance. Educate patients on diagnoses and treatments, perform lab draws and wound care, and float among various clinical services as needed. Document all pertinent information, treatment planning participation, and care activities in a timely manner per facility protocol. Attend required supervision sessions and complete assigned trainings. Work night shifts (7P-7:30A) in a fast-paced crisis setting with children, adolescents, and adults.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License – Unrestricted, issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing
- At least 1 year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or crisis care experience
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable working in a crisis environment with diverse patient populations
- Experience working with children & adolescents in a behavioral health setting
- Proficiency with EMRs and psychiatric documentation
