Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health - PRN Day Shift

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical and mental health assessments, administer medications per protocol, and monitor behavioral and medical changes in patients experiencing acute psychiatric distress. Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques, perform lab draws, and provide wound care as ordered while ensuring compliance with seclusion and restraint standards. Participate in patient treatment planning, educate patients on diagnoses and medications, and accurately document all care in a timely manner. Float among various clinical services within the market as needed. This PRN day shift role supports MIND 24-7's mission of transforming mental health care through immediate, on-site crisis intervention in Phoenix, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License – Unrestricted, issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing
- At least 1 year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or crisis care experience
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable working in a crisis environment with diverse patient populations
- Experience working with children & adolescents in a behavioral health setting
- Proficiency with EMRs and psychiatric documentation
