Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies. Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments, develop nursing plans of care, and implement interventions for assigned patients. Participate in treatment team conferences to plan and revise goals, objectives, and interventions based on patient status changes. Conduct or co-lead group therapy sessions and evaluate patient responses to adjust care plans as needed. This rotating shift part-time role is with Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo, a leading nonprofit Catholic health system.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
