Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Avow Hospice Care24 team. Day shift with 3-12 hour shifts (8a-8:30p) and every other weekend; cross-training across IPU, Care24 field, CHC, and triage. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation), managing pain and complex symptoms at end of life, educating and supporting patients and families, coordinating care with interdisciplinary team and community resources, supervising LPNs and Home Health Aides, ensuring safety and accurate EMR documentation, and meeting productivity goals. Requires NC nursing licensure in Florida, CPR certification, and BSN/CHPN preferences; includes travel to patient homes and participation in varied shifts and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Florida
- CHPN preferred; Required within 2 years of employment
- Healthcare Provider CPR required upon hire
- Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelor in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
