Job Summary
Assess and diagnose patients in a practice setting, identify outcomes, and implement treatment plans for oncology and infusion procedures. Coordinate all aspects of care delivery, provide education and counseling regarding health needs and medication effects, and recognize solution incompatibilities affecting stability. Perform facility acuity coding, document pertinent clinical information, and ensure appropriate levels of service are selected for the diverse patient population. Requires fluent English, intact sensory functions, and the ability to respond quickly to changing conditions. Schedule includes 4/9-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM with one weekend day requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of North Carolina
- BLS required per policy guidelines
- Must speak English fluently and in understandable terms
- Must possess an intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and finger dexterity
- Must have the ability to concentrate
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or clinic conditions

Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
- Proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses and phlebotomy preferred
- Oncology certification preferred
