Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department at Atrium Health Cabarrus (Concord, NC), part-time 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, 24 hours/week. Provides high-quality adult and pediatric emergency care within a Level III ED; collaborates with interdisciplinary team, adheres to nursing process, maintains patient safety and timely documentation, and participates in governance and quality initiatives. Requires RN license (multi-state or single-state) and BLS; BSN is preferred. Must be able to float to other units as needed and demonstrate growth in clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork. The ED emphasizes safety, ethics, and evidence-based practice; compensation includes base pay within $38.20–$57.30/hour range plus shift incentives where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
- Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state where providing client nursing services
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience
