Job Summary
Initiate nursing processes by planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating care based on clinical assessments and patient data. Develop treatment plans addressing nursing diagnoses and review them with the multidisciplinary team regarding length of stay and discharge readiness. Administer medications per physician orders, facilitate procedures, and implement detoxification protocols according to withdrawal scales. Record and report all information impacting patient treatment or continuing care while completing medical discharge forms. Work inpatient shifts including 6a-230p and 2:30p-11p, five days per week with rotating weekends. Substance abuse treatment experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Unit nurses will be graduates of an accredited school of nursing
- hold a current valid RN license to practice in the State of New York
