Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in the antepartum unit. Role involves monitoring maternal and fetal vital signs, administering medications, and performing necessary interventions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans and educate patients about pregnancy complications. Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, responding to changes in patient condition, and supporting patients emotionally during complex pregnancies. Compliance with hospital policies and standards is essential. Offers a competitive salary and $10,000 sign-on bonus with an 18-month commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- BLS certification
- NRP and STABLE certification
- COAP and Suicide Prevention course
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred
