Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Antepartum, Day Shift: Delivers safe, compassionate nursing care for antepartum patients, developing and evaluating care plans, performing patient assessments, documenting health data, and communicating plans to patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians to achieve optimal outcomes, provides patient and family teaching tailored to learning needs, participates in professional development, and may float to the postpartum unit. Requires IL nursing licensure, BSN preferred, BLS/CPR, 2 years antepartum/acute care experience preferred. Full-time role with weekend rotation; 7:00–19:30 shifts; includes HIPAA-compliant care, potential performance improvement activities, and specialty nursing responsibilities including wound/ostomy/skin care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association
- Experience: 2 years Antepartum or acute care nursing experience strongly preferred
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Antepartum Experience preferred
