Job Summary
Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and interpret symptoms to communicate with physicians. Perform routine procedures including blood pressure measurements, injections, and charting while adjusting medications per physician orders. Inspect facilities, maintain hygiene through decontamination and sanitization, and prepare beds. Provide instant medical care in emergencies and foster a supportive environment for long-term care patients. Fully vaccinated and boosted candidates required for Massachusetts long-term care. Full-time, part-time, or per diem roles available with pay ranging from $40 to $60 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- You must be fully vaccinated and boosted to work in a long-term care facility in the state of Massachusetts
- Proven experience as a registered nurse or LPN
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of emergency care
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
- BSc or other diploma from a nursing program
- Valid nursing license
