Job Summary
Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients by accepting assignments as directed and conducting comprehensive assessments using subjective and objective data. Communicate effectively with clinical teams and patients to evaluate knowledge of procedures, involve families in care plans, and document responses to interventions. Administer medications and treatments per policy, perform post-op calls, and provide timely updates to physicians on patient condition changes. Apply evidence-based practice to deliver age-specific care while maintaining a safe environment and working in a constant state of alertness.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
