Job Summary
Registered Nurse on an Ambulatory Surgery unit providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care with independent application of the nursing process. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; involving patients and families in the care plan; maintaining regulatory compliance; and guiding unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care. Collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Part-time, Days, 2 ten-hour shifts per week (M-F) at Highland Park with travel to Evanston, Glenbrook, and Skokie hospitals as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved school of nursing
- IL RN License
- CPR
- BLS
- Experience: 6 mths RN experience in comparable role - Preferred
