Job Summary
Per diem ambulatory OB/GYN RN role focused on direct patient care across the care continuum in outpatient settings. Responsibilities include nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients and families in obstetric/gynecologic care. Requires MA RN licensure, current BLS (ACLS may be required for certain units), and demonstrated OB/GYN ambulatory experience including fetal monitoring/NST. Preferred BSN with ability to obtain BSN within 4 years; Epic documentation experience and strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient care outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred and ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
- Graduate of a nursing degree program; BSN required
- Outpatient/Ambulatory OB/GYN experience and telephone triage experience preferred
- Antenatal Testing/NST/Fetal Monitoring experience and certification required for Labor & Delivery units (ACLS may be required for certain practice areas)
- Epic documentation experience preferred
