Job Summary
Deliver direct nursing care in the medical-surgical department by systematically evaluating care quality, developing patient-specific plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. Coordinate with inter-professional teams and educate patients and families on health promotion and comfort measures while maintaining a safe, culturally sensitive work environment. Serve as a mentor to nursing colleagues and students, utilizing leadership skills to foster a healthy practice setting. Perform point of care testing as assigned and maintain constant alertness. Requires a Registered Nurse license and BLS certification; full-time night shift with 36 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
