Job Summary
Conduct direct nursing care in the medical-surgical department by systematically evaluating patient quality of life, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. Collect assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses, set goals, and evaluate outcomes while collaborating with families, communities, and the inter-professional team. Educate patients and families on health promotion measures and foster a healthy work environment by mentoring colleagues and students. Perform point of care testing as assigned and maintain constant alertness and safe manner during night shifts. Requires a Registered Nurse license in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin plus BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
